Automated Systems Inc. (ASI) has been in business since 1974, initially specializing in material handling equipment and expanding our expertise into a wide range of custom automation, electrical controls, and robotics. We are a full-service company offering everything our clients need, including sales assistance, system and cell design and development, mechanical and electrical engineering, component fabrication, and installation, as well as further servicing as needed.
We manufacture everything from a single piece of equipment to a complete, turnkey automation system, including heavy equipment, light and flexible automation systems, storage devices, machine load and unload equipment, and robotic work cells. ASI currently holds patents on many of its manufactured components. We are very proud of our high-quality workmanship and continually strive to improve in all design and manufacturing areas.

ASI operates a 40,000-square-foot facility in Auburn Hills, MI, complete with in-house offices for engineering, fabrication, panel building, and other related activities. We also have access to an additional 180,000 square feet of fabrication space through one of our local partners, allowing clients who need to scale up their projects quickly to do so.
