Conveyor Systems

ASI offers several options for conveyor systems to meet our customers’ specific needs, all of which can be customized to meet specific needs for size, space, and drive mechanism requirements. We specialize in a wide variety of products as well as programming hardware and logic. Our conveyor systems are designed for seamless material flow, regardless of configuration, and are engineered to enhance your production efficiency and minimize downtime.

Gantry Pick-And-Place Systems

ASI can specially engineer pneumatic or servo gantries that pick and place parts between conveyors.

Flat Top Conveyors

ASI’s flat top conveyor systems can be built to handle a variety of parts with a wide selection of chains. The conveyor width, chain, and guides are all engineered around the product being handled.

Flexible Pallet Conveyors, Large and Small

Accumulating pallets are used in no-touch systems where parts are fragile or need precise loading or unloading tolerances. ASI also produces a larger and more flexible pallet conveyor for parts that may be heavier or larger than what the standard conveyors can support.

Accumulating Roller Chain Conveyor Systems

This type of conveyor system is an ideal way to accumulate parts, palletized parts, machining fixtures, baskets, and similar products or containers. The chain continues to move under the stopped product, allowing additional products to accumulate behind it. This system is especially well-suited for handling heavy products.

Over/Under Pallet Conveyors

Over- or under-accumulating pallets are used in no-touch systems where parts are fragile or require precise loading or unloading tolerances.

Power and Free Roller Conveyor Systems

Roller systems are used for large part handling applications. They are capable of handling heavy materials, and the rollers and conveyor frames are engineered to the product-specific requirements.

Belt Conveyors

ASI belt conveyors are custom-built and handle a variety of products. The conveyor width, belt, and guides are all engineered around the product being handled.

Slat Conveyors

This non-accumulating type of pallet conveyor is used in no-touch systems where parts are fragile or need precise loading or unloading tolerances.

Chain-Driven Live Roller Conveyor, with or without Slip Sleeves

A chain-driven live roller is ideal for larger parts that don’t require pallets and can be designed with slip sleeves to allow the parts to accumulate behind them. ASI also produces a chain-driven live roller conveyor system without a slip sleeve for more fragile parts that should not accumulate.

Rotary Table

A rotary table is an ideal way to accumulate parts from inline transfers via gravity track or powered conveyors. This unit is a cost-effective solution for manual unload stations.

Bi-Flow / Mass Flow Conveyor

Bi-Flow or mass flow conveyors are ideal for storing products in a first-in, first-out fashion or for storing large quantities of small products in random order. They can be used to accumulate a large quantity of product using limited linear floor space.

Cost-Effective Pneumatic- or Servo-Driven Lifter

Pneumatic / Servo-Driven Lifters are one of the most efficient ways to move parts vertically. Servo-driven lifters can be programmed to stop at different heights based on the height of the conveyor, allowing for easy replacement if needed.

Pneumatic Rollover

Pneumatic Rollovers are ideal when you need to flip the orientation of parts for a machine later on.

Pneumatic Shuttle

ASI’s Pneumatic Shuttle is a pneumatically actuated shuttle transfer system that allows for isolated and straightforward transfer between guarded or unguarded areas.

Manual Carts and Cart Lifts

ASI carts are specifically engineered to handle heated parts that cannot be transported by standard means. We also build cart lifts, which are used for lifting heat-treated carts to unload parts that cannot be transported using conventional means.
